Russell Fisher has extensive experience in agricultural operations and management, currently serving as Site Lead for Pillen Family Farms since March 2018. Russell has been managing the family farm, Fisher Farms, since February 2007, overseeing daily operations and planning. Previous roles include Independent Business Owner at AuctionTime, Site Manager at Fairview Mills Inc, and Independent Sales Representative at Big Iron Online Auctions, where Russell contributed to the sales of agriculture equipment. Additional experience includes supervisory positions in distribution and shipping at Smart Chicken and CJ Foods Inc., where Russell optimized processes and improved operational efficiency. Russell began their career as a Forklift Operator and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography from Peru State College.

Pillen Family Farms is a multi-generational Nebraska-based family agribusiness company. Our daily commitment is to produce high-quality pork while protecting the environment and promoting animal welfare. Many factors contribute to the success of our farms, however, our people are the key. Our farms are composed of high value people who are committed to our core principles: 1) Do what is right. 2) Do the best you can. 3) Treat others the way you want to be treated. Our farms support local economies and annually purchase 14 million bushels of corn out of the field and from cooperatives. If planted in a twelve row strip, this would be enough corn to make over a complete circle around the globe. Annually, we produce enough pork to feed over 13 million people.
