Matthew Morrison

Matthew Morrison is a Partner at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP since October 2013 and serves as an Adjunct Professor of Environmental Law at The George Washington University Law School since September 2010. Prior experience includes roles as Deputy Director of Environmental Crimes Enforcement at the USEPA from January 2012 to October 2013, overseeing the agency's criminal enforcement program, and Associate Director of Air Enforcement at the US Environmental Protection Agency from November 2008 to January 2012, managing civil enforcement under the Clean Air Act. Matthew's earlier career includes serving as a Senior Attorney in the Environmental Enforcement Section of the U.S. Department of Justice from February 1995 to November 2008, and as an Attorney-Advisor for Superfund Enforcement at EPA from July 1992 to February 1995. Matthew began his career as a Chemical Process Engineer at Witco Corporation from October 1983 to August 1986. Matthew holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Fordham University School of Law, an MBA in Finance from Fordham Gabelli School of Business, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Lehigh University.
