Melissa Jones-Prus

Melissa Jones-Prus is a Partner in the Asset Finance team at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP, a position held since January 2011. In this role, Melissa specializes in representing clients in the aviation, aerospace, and transportation sectors, working with lessors, asset managers, airlines, commercial banks, and other financiers on various transportation asset-backed financings. Prior to this, Melissa served as Counsel at the Refugee Law Office from November 2009 to November 2010 and has an extensive educational background with a Doctor of Law (J.D.) and a Master of Arts (M.A.) in International Relations from the University of Toronto, as well as a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Political Science from McGill University.
