Nora Burke

Nora Burke serves as a Partner and Global Head of Tax at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP, bringing over 16 years of expertise in federal income tax planning related to business and financial transactions, such as mergers and acquisitions, lending transactions, and securities offerings for both domestic and international clients. Nora provides strategic counsel to emerging companies and founders, advising on the tax aspects of private and public M&A transactions across diverse industries, including technology, media, and biotechnology. Prior to this role, Nora worked as an Associate at Hogan & Hartson and began as a Paralegal. Nora holds a J.D. from William & Mary and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Virginia.
