Paul E. Thomas

Paul E. Thomas is an experienced Intellectual Property Attorney currently at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP since January 2016. With a strong background in trademarks, copyrights, licensing, and media and entertainment law, Paul previously held positions at Fredrikson & Byron, P.A. from March 2008 to May 2015 and served as a Senior Associate at Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP from 2003 to 2007. Paul also worked as an Associate at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP from 2000 to 2003 and as a Copyright Attorney at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum from 1998 to 2000. Early experience includes serving as an Intellectual Property Law Clerk at Honeywell, Inc. from 1995 to 1997 and teaching Upper School English at Breck School from 1985 to 1994. Paul holds a Juris Doctor degree from Mitchell Hamline School of Law and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Chicago.
