Zeinab Ardeshir

Founder & Chief Pharmacist at PillSorted

Zeinab Ardeshir is the founder and chief pharmacist at PillSorted. Zeinab has worked in the pharmacy industry for over a decade, starting as a pharmacist in 2008. Zeinab has since held positions as a pharmacy manager and, most recently, as a founder and chief pharmacist.

Ardeshir’s experience in community pharmacy settings has allowed their to develop a deep understanding of the needs of both patients and pharmacists. This understanding was the impetus for their to start PillSorted, a company that provides an online platform for patients to manage their medications.

Ardeshir’s commitment to patient care is evident in their work history. Zeinab has always been interested in expanding pharmacy services to better meet the needs of their community. For example, while working at Tesco, they trained and tutored many dispensers and newly qualified pharmacists. Zeinab also expanded pharmacy services throughout the community through novel programmes.

At Boots UK, Ardeshir was in charge of the smooth running of pharmacy operations. This included requesting patient prescriptions, clinical checking and dispensing, managing stock, staff rota, and providing specific services on behalf of NHS. Zeinab also collaborated with team members to meet targets and plan on KPIs.

Ardeshir’s passion for pharmacy and dedication to patient care has led their to where they are today – leading a company that is improving the lives of patients by simplifying their medication management.

Zeinab Ardeshir has a postgraduate diploma for overseas pharmacists from Aston University, and a Doctor of Pharmacy - PharmD from Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences.
