Steve Reckamp has worked in the software engineering field since 2004. Steve began their career as a Development Director and Electrical Engineer at Visualize, Inc., where they managed product innovation projects and integrated design concepts across electrical, software, and mechanical engineering and ID. In 2009, they became the Director of Engineering at Aristocrat (formerly Paltronics, Inc.), where they were a subject matter expert and liaison to partner companies for new technology and integration. From 2015 to 2019, they worked as a Lead Staff Software Engineer at Continental, where they created system architecture, analyzed requirements, selected SOC/hardware strategies, defined processor and memory budgets, and developed concepts of operations. Currently, they are a Senior Software Engineer at Pilot AI, where they spur innovation and influences decisions throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC), presents on high-visibility initiatives to internal/external c-level leaders and customers, and understands how tech dev impacts performance, user experience, and revenue.

Steve Reckamp obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Steve has also obtained certifications from Coursera for Machine Learning Specialization (obtained in September 2022), Scrum.org for Professional Scrum Master II (obtained in December 2017), and Scaled Agile, Inc. for Certified SAFe 4 Advanced Scrum Master (obtained in April 2017).
