Cathy Downie, PHR

Cathy Downie, PHR has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Cathy began their career at Infinity Resources in 1994, where they worked as a Group Leader in the Customer Service call center. Cathy then joined Kanbay, Inc (now Capgemini) in 1999 as an Employee Relations Analyst, providing IT services and strategies. In 2005, they moved to Clopay Corporation as a Human Resources Generalist, where they contributed to the development and production of specialty films and served as a leading supplier of industrial and commercial sectional doors. Currently, Cathy serves as a Talent Acquisition Specialist at Pilot Chemical Company, where they play a pivotal role in providing high-quality products and services to various industries.

Cathy Downie, PHR, obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management from Roosevelt University, where they studied from 2001 to 2005. In addition to their degree, they have also obtained other certifications. In 2002, they received certification as a Microsoft Office User Specialist in Word and PowerPoint from Microsoft. Furthermore, in June 2014, they obtained the Professional in Human Resources (PHR®) certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI.
