Kirk Schlup has a diverse range of work experience in various industries. Kirk started their career at Marathon Oil Corporation as a Construction Engineer and later worked as an Operations Engineer, where they focused on designing and executing completions and work-overs for wells.

After their time at Marathon Oil, Kirk joined Arco Chemical, where they took on multiple roles including Plant Engineer, Technical Service Manager, and Financial Analyst. Kirk was responsible for resolving technical issues related to propylene oxide and propylene glycol, as well as developing and implementing procedures for handling food and pharmaceutical grade propylene glycol.

Next, Kirk worked at Uniroyal Chemical as a Technical Service Manager, where they successfully ran trials and executed solutions to close sales.

Kirk then joined Chemtura, where they held two key positions. As a Global Market Manager, they managed the detergents, greases, and fuel additive business on a global scale, and as a Strategic Business Project Manager, they evaluated and executed strategic projects for the Petroleum Additives group, co-inventing a patent for Overbased Magnesium Oxide Dispersions.

Kirk later became the Managing Director at XLABS LLC, a new product incubator, where they developed innovative products and obtained a provisional patent.

After XLABS, Kirk served as the Business Development Manager at Liquid Minerals Group Ltd, where they focused on developing the business and expanding into new markets.

Their most recent role is at Pilot Chemical Company, where they are currently working as a Business Manager for the Aristonates division.

Kirk Schlup has a diverse education history that spans several institutions and fields of study. Kirk began their educational journey at Escuela Lincoln in Buenos Aires, where they attended from 1964 to 1972. Kirk then moved to Colegio Bolivar in Cali, where they studied from 1972 to 1976. Continuing their education, they attended the Joint Embassy School in Jakarta for a year, from 1976 to 1977. Kirk Schlup went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Colorado Boulder, which they completed from 1977 to 1982. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Finance at Villanova University, where they studied from 1995 to 1998.
