Robert P. Cellura

Robert P. Cellura joined Pilot Chemical Company’s Board of Directors in 2006 and became the company’s first Director Emeritus in 2018. Prior to that he held VP positions in Commercial and Business Development at Pilot Chemical from 1993 until his retirement in 2006. He previously held positions in basic, applications and process R&D in the Textile Fibers Division at DuPont, as well as a variety of positions including Director positions in Sales, Business and Communications at Union Carbide.

Bob earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from St. John Fisher College in 1966 and a Ph.D. in Physical Organic Chemistry from Syracuse University in 1970. He served in the U.S. Navy active and reserves from 1959 to 1963, achieving the rank of Petty Officer, Second Class.
