Dave Lavelle

Dave Lavelle is an accomplished IT and security professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various companies. Currently serving as the Director of Security & IT Operations at Pilot.com since July 2025, Lavelle previously held senior positions including Director of IT at Instabase and Head of IT at Productiv. Early in the career, Lavelle acquired expertise as an IT Manager at both Cruise and Pure Storage, and as Head of IT at Elastica, which was acquired by Symantec. Earlier roles include Systems and Security Administrator at Qualys and IT Administrator positions at KalioTek and EMCOR Services Mesa Energy. Lavelle possesses a BS in Computer Science from the University of Denver and an MS in Cyber Security from Utica University.
