Michael O’Brien

Michael Ontiveros is a skilled Data Scientist and Epidemiologist with a strong background in public health. Currently employed at the Albuquerque Area Indian Health Board, Inc. since April 2023, Michael has previously worked as an Epidemiologist at the CDC Foundation from November 2021 to April 2023 and held dual roles as a Data Scientist and Epidemiologist at the same organization from September 2020 to August 2021. Prior experience includes a position as a Data Scientist at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health from August 2019 to August 2020 and volunteering with Bienestar Human Services in 2017 to support syringe services operations. Educationally, Michael holds a Master of Health Science in Epidemiology from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health (2019-2020) and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Health Studies from The Johns Hopkins University (2015-2019).
