Austin Menard, EIT has diverse work experience in the engineering field. Austin started their career as a Summer Intern at the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development in 2015, where they assisted with managing infrastructural projects, conducted land surveys, and drafted technical reports. In 2017, they worked as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at M.A. Patout & Son LTD Sugar Mill, where they designed and manufactured a filtration system and created replacement hydraulic piston for sugar mill rollers. Austin also converted technical drawings to CAD versions using Solidworks. In 2018, Austin worked as a Field Engineer - MWD at Halliburton and later as a Pipeline Project Engineer at H2O Midstream, LLC. In 2022, they joined Energy Transfer as an Engineer - Facility Planning and Systems Analysis before becoming the Director of Engineering and Planning at Pilot Water Solutions in 2023.

Austin Menard, EIT obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2017. Austin has also received additional certifications, including the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam (Mechanical) from NCEES and the Engineer In Training certification from the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors.
