Taka Tanahashi, CPA

Taka Tanahashi, CPA has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. From 2010 to 2012, they worked as an Accounting Intern at Grove Avenue Associates II, LLC, where they prepared income tax returns and created procedural standards for the office. From 2012 to 2016, Taka worked at Withum as a Senior Accountant, overseeing audits, reviews, and compilations of financial statements, assisting with tax returns, and advising clients on daily accounting issues. In 2016, they took a sabbatical to travel and volunteer in South America. In 2017, they joined Kurtosys Systems as a Financial Consultant, where they completed monthly closes, assisted with the financial audit, and helped with the transition of the finance team. In 2017, Taka also started working at Pilot as the Director of Finance & Accounting, Controller. Finally, in 2018, they served as an Adjunct Instructor at Raritan Valley Community College.

Taka Tanahashi, CPA, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Ramapo College of New Jersey. Taka attended the college from 2008 to 2012. In May 2014, they obtained the certification of Certified Public Accountant from the NJ State Board of Accountancy.
