Pilotlight is a purpose-built, contractor-focused solution developed on the Microsoft Power Platform, designed specifically to streamline energy benchmarking and Clean Buildings compliance.

By integrating workflows, utility data, and engineering steps into one digital environment and enabling AI Agents via Azure AI Foundry, Pilotlight automates repetitive tasks, ensures accountability, and enhances the client experience.

If you think of the benchmarking process today, it’s slow, manual, and filled with friction: spreadsheets, email back-and-forth, collecting utility bills, and formatting reports for submission. It’s a compliance headache that building owners don’t want, and contractors struggle to profitably deliver.

That's where Pilotlight comes in.

We’re like TurboTax, but for building energy compliance. We simplify a complex regulatory process into a guided, step-by-step workflow that contractors can follow, automate, and deliver to clients at scale. Our platform integrates with utility data sources and is customizable to reflect each contractor’s preferred process.

While still early in our journey, we are growing fast—our vision is to power a new kind of contractor-led climate action. With over 50 U.S. cities with benchmarking mandates, we aim to be the trusted workflow engine behind every contractor helping buildings hit their targets.
