Jim Dries began their work experience in 1999 as an Investment Banking Analyst/Associate in the Energy and Power Group at Banc of America Securities. Jim worked there until 2003. From 2004 to 2008, they served as a Director at Corporate Executive Board. In 2008, they joined Clubessential as the Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, holding the position until 2013. In 2014, they became the CEO of Pilytix, a company that specializes in artificial intelligence tools. In 2017, they took on the role of CEO at piLYTIX Sports.
Jim Dries attended Marquette High School, although the specific start and end years are unknown. After completing high school, they enrolled in Yale University from 1995 to 1999, earning a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science and Government. Later, from 2009 to 2011, Jim pursued higher education at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where they obtained an MBA degree.
