Karen Luce

Karen Luce is an experienced dental professional with a strong background in academia and clinical practice. Currently serving as Adjunct Faculty at Pima Community College and as a Dental Consultant for Overjet, Karen previously held the role of Dental Director at the Oklahoma Health Care Authority, where oversight of the State Medicaid Dental Program was provided. From 2015 to 2020, Karen was an Assistant Professor at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, focusing on Periodontal and Interprofessional Education. Earlier experience includes positions as a Staff Periodontist at Cherokee Nation Healthcare Services and as an Associate Periodontist at Southern Arizona Dental Specialties. Karen holds a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, a Certificate in Periodontics, and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, along with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from Texas Woman's University.
