Lisa Reams has a diverse work experience in the non-profit sector. Lisa started their career as the Director of HR and Administration at OUR TOWN Family Center, where they developed the HR system and oversaw risk management. Lisa then took on the role of Mediator/Mediation Program Manager, leading a team and managing funding sources.
From 2005 to 2017, Lisa worked at Our Family Services as a Senior Director/Assistant Director. During this time, they managed day-to-day operations and facilitated three mergers that increased the agency's size and impact. Lisa was also responsible for training, community partnerships, and organizational culture.
In 2017, Lisa joined Pima Council On Aging as the Vice President of Programs & Services. In this role, they led a team and managed various programs for older adults, including helpline, case management, and caregiver support.
Currently, Lisa serves as a Board Member at Handi-Dogs, Inc, where they hold leadership roles and supports the organization's mission to assist people with disabilities and medical conditions in training their service dogs.
Lisa Reams obtained a Certificate in Public Policy & Management from the University of Arizona - Eller College of Management in an unspecified year, and later earned a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from the University of Arizona between 1988 and 1991. Lisa then pursued a Master's Degree in Human Services, Non-profit Management from Capella University from 2010 to 2012. Additionally, Lisa attended the Center for Creative Leadership's Women's Leadership Program in 2014.
