Julien Daclin

Julien Daclin has a diverse work experience in the field of building technology and environmental performance. Julien currently holds the position of Head of Building Technology at PIMCO Prime Real Estate since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Special Project Manager at the same company from December 2019 to January 2023. Julien also has experience as an Associate at Time for the Planet from December 2021 onwards. In their previous roles, Julien served as the Director of Performance Digitale et Environnementale at JLL France from January 2018 to December 2019. Before that, they held the position of Director of Performance Environnementale at Deerns from May 2014 to December 2017, and as the Responsible of Performance Environnementale from June 2010 to May 2014. At Hilson Moran Partnership, they were the Head of Sustainability France from February 2009 to August 2010, and a Principal Engineer from May 2007 to February 2009. Julien started their career as a Senior Engineer at Roger Preston and Partners from November 2002 to April 2007.

Julien Daclin has a strong educational background in renewable energy and the environment. Julien obtained a Bachelor's degree in Energy and Environment from Edinburgh Napier University, where they studied from 1999 to 2001. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Renewable Energy at the University of Reading, completing their studies in 2002. Additionally, Julien has obtained several certifications related to sustainable building practices, including BREEAM In Use Auditor and BREEAM International Assessor from BRE, LEED AP BD+C from GBCi, and Référent HQE International from Cerway.
