Melitta Petersohn

Melitta Petersohn has extensive experience in tax and corporate finance. Melitta most recently served as the Head of Tax and Head of Corporate Finance at PIMCO Prime Real Estate since February 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Allianz Group for 12 years, holding the positions of Senior Tax Expert and Technical Expert. Before joining Allianz Group, Melitta worked at BAYERN TREUHAND OBERMEIER as a Public Accountant and Tax Adviser, where they also served as a Team Leader. Melitta began their career at the Finanzamt München III as a Back Office Specialist for Business Income.

Melitta Petersohn's education history begins at Städtische Friedrich-List-Wirtschaftsschule München, where they obtained a business school degree. Following this, they attended Fachoberschule I der Landeshauptstadt München and achieved a Fachhochschulreife. Then, Melitta attended Bayerische Beamtenfachhochschule for three years, where they obtained a degree in Tax Administration (Diplom-Finanzwirtin (FH)). Melitta later pursued a degree in Tax Advising (Steuerberaterin) at Oberfinanzdirektion München, completing it in 2003. Melitta's education journey concluded with a Public Accountant degree (Wirtschaftsprüferin) from Wirtschaftsprüferkammer – Körperschaft des öffentlichen Rechts in 2006.
