Peter McVeigh

Peter McVeigh is a Senior Vice President at PIMCO, where they serve as Chief Risk Officer. With several years of experience in hedge funds, Peter has focused on managing the investment and risk process, particularly in Long/Short Equity funds. They have a strong technical background and solid programming skills, applying quantitative finance to enhance performance and risk management. Peter began their career in 2011 as a hedge fund selector and has held various risk management leadership positions across multiple firms. They hold a first-class honors degree in Computer Science and a Master’s in Finance from Queen's University Belfast.
