Kasian Franks

Kasian Franks is an experienced entrepreneur and executive with a diverse background in the fields of AI, genomics, and technology. As the CEO and Co-Founder of Vector Space Biosciences since January 2016, Franks focuses on developing AI-driven countermeasures for diseases related to spaceflight stressors. Franks also serves as an advisor to Pimovi, Inc., which is creating an alternative currency for the music industry. Previous roles include EIR Advisor for Propel(x), Founder and CEO of Mimvi, Inc., and a founding leadership position at SeeqPod, a music streaming search platform. Franks has a strong scientific foundation, having worked as a Genomic Research Scientist at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and held consulting positions with AstraZeneca. Educational background includes studies at the University of California, Berkeley, Diablo Valley College, and Stanford University.
