Caio Torres

Caio Torres is an experienced software developer with a strong background in software architecture and development. Caio has held various positions throughout their career, starting as a Programmer Analyst at Dimension Data in 2008, where they were involved in the development, maintenance, and delivery of software products.

In 2011, Caio became a Software Development Coordinator at Digital Pages, leading the development team and implementing tests to reduce exceptions in projects. Caio then joined Bio Ritmo Academia in 2012 as a Software Developer, where they made significant improvements to Rails projects and provided architecture solutions.

From 2013 to 2014, Caio worked as a Software Developer at Locaweb, contributing to a project using Ruby on Rails and Backbone framework. Caio was responsible for the development process and project decisions, including software restructuring.

In 2014, Caio joined R7.com as a Software Developer, where they built a real-time chat system and led a project for the presidential elections calculation.

From 2016 to 2017, Caio served as Lead Software Engineer at Emprego Ligado, contributing to the technical leadership of the company.

In 2017, they took on leadership roles in the tech event industry, becoming the LATAM Event Director at HackerX and the Event Director at WomenHack. In the same year, Caio also co-founded Pin People, where they currently serve as the CTO, responsible for the technical direction and development of the company's software platform.

Caio Torres attended Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie from 2005 to 2009, where they pursued a Bachelor of Computer Science degree in the field of Computer Science. In August 2014, they obtained a certification in "Developing Innovative Ideas for New Companies: The First Step in Entrepreneurship" from Coursera.
