Carlos Ramírez Fuentes is a Mexican business and government advisor who has worked extensively in the pension and investment industries. Carlos is currently an advisor at pinBox Solutions, a Mexican pension and investment consultancy.

Ramírez Fuentes began their career in the Mexican government, working as the Director of Communications for the country's pension regulator (CONSAR) from 2003 to 2006. Carlos then moved to the Secretariat of Finance and Public Credit (SHCP), where they served as Director of Communications from 2001 to 2003.

In 2009, Ramírez Fuentes left government to join PRoa StructurA, a communications consultancy. Carlos spent one year at the firm before returning to SHCP in 2010.

Ramírez Fuentes left SHCP in 2013 to become President of the International Organization of Pension Supervisors (IOPS). Carlos held this position until 2018, when they returned to Mexico to join pinBox Solutions as an advisor.

Carlos Ramírez Fuentes earned a Master's degree in Economic Policy Management from [Columbia University in the City of New York. Carlos also has a degree in Public Policy from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and degrees in Economics and Political Science from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México and the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, respectively.
