Vanessa McNeil

Vanessa McNeil has extensive experience in the field of hazardous materials. Vanessa began their career at Metro Waste Paper Recovery as an Environmental Program Consultant in 2006. Vanessa then joined Pinchin West Ltd. in 2007 and held roles as a Technologist, Project Coordinator, and eventually a Project Manager until 2013. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as a Senior Project Manager at Pinchin West Ltd. In 2017, they joined Pinchin Ltd. as an Operations Manager, where they worked closely with various clients in managing hazardous materials surveys and projects. In 2018, they were promoted to the position of Director, Hazardous Materials, where they managed and supervised project managers and oversaw hazardous materials assessment projects. In 2019, they became the Vice President of British Columbia for Pinchin Ltd., where they provided leadership and direction, and managed hazardous materials practices in the region. Currently, they serve as the Executive Vice President for BC at Pinchin Ltd., responsible for the day-to-day operations, growth strategy, and management of a team of experts.

Vanessa McNeil obtained a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from the University of Calgary, where they studied from 1999 to 2004. Vanessa also holds additional certifications as a Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute and as an Applied Microbial Remediation Technician from the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC). Additionally, they are an Applied Science Technologist with the Applied Science Technologists and Technicians of BC, and they have a LEED AP certification from the Canadian Green Building Council Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design.
