Vijay Balasubramaniyan

Vijay Balasubramaniyan is a seasoned technology executive with a strong background in computer science and engineering. As CEO and Co-founder of Pindrop Security since April 2011, Vijay has led the development of innovative enterprise solutions to combat phone-based fraud through advanced acoustical fingerprinting technology. Prior experience includes roles as a Research Engineer at IBM, where analysis of malicious activities on social platforms was conducted, and as a Software Engineer at both Google and Intel. Early career experience includes positions as a Senior Software Engineer at Siemens and a Research Engineer at IBM. Vijay holds a PhD in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science & Engineering from RV College of Engineering.
