Yan Li

Yan Li is a Technical Lead at Pinduoduo, focusing on infrastructure and Kubernetes, as well as continuous integration and deployment, since July 2020. Prior to this role, Yan served as a Technical Expert specializing in PaaS and infrastructure. Between June 2017 and July 2020, Yan worked as a Backend Engineer at VeeR VR, contributing to the development of a virtual reality platform using technologies such as Ruby on Rails and AWS services. Previous experience includes positions at Oracle as a Software Engineer and Member of Technical Staff, focusing on performance and reliability engineering for Oracle Fusion Applications, as well as an internship at FormFactor and a consultancy at the University of Michigan, where Yan optimized scheduling systems. Yan holds a Master’s degree in Operations Research from the University of California, Berkeley, a Bachelor’s degree in IOE from the University of Michigan, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
