Andrew Varrow

Andrew Varrow has a diverse background in project development, investment consulting, and economic development. Andrew is currently working as the Director of Project Development at Pine Gate Renewables since 2021. Prior to this role, Andrew founded and served as the Director of Development Ventures, a social enterprise focused on renewable assets and impact investments. Andrew has also held positions at DAI, Landell Mills, IESC - International Executive Service Corps, IBM Services, Aga Khan Foundation Afghanistan, Commonwealth Business Council, and DESY. Throughout their career, Andrew has demonstrated expertise in directing operations, managing contracts, developing business strategies, sourcing investments, and providing technical assistance to entrepreneurs.

Andrew Varrow has a diverse education history. In 1997 to 1999, they pursued an Advanced Certificate in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics at the University of Portsmouth. Andrew then went on to complete a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in International Relations at the University of Plymouth from 2001 to 2004. In 2005 to 2006, they obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Conflict, Security & Development from King's College London. Lastly, in 2014 to 2015, Andrew earned a Certificate of Professional Achievement in Business Administration & Economics from Columbia University.
