Amanda Woods is an experienced professional in the field of recreational therapy and mental health, currently serving as an Experiential Therapist at Charlie Health since February 2024. Amanda has held the position of Recreational Therapist at Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services since May 2022, previously completed an internship in Activity Therapy, and worked as a Program Instructor and Site Supervisor for the City of Kentwood since April 2021. Prior experience includes a role as Care Partner Mentor at Clark Retirement Community from January 2016 to February 2024 and a Student Fieldworker position at the City of Wyoming's Senior Center in summer 2021. Amanda’s educational background includes a Master of Science in Advanced Practice of Recreational Therapy and a Bachelor of Science in Recreational Therapy from Grand Valley State University, as well as an Associate of Arts degree from Grand Rapids Community College. Amanda also has customer service experience from time spent at Speedway LLC from 2011 to 2017.
