Gretchen Johnson

Gretchen Johnson is the current Chief Nurse Executive at Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services. Gretchen has over 19 years of experience working in the mental health field. Gretchen has been with Pine Rest since August 2000, starting as the Clinical Services Manager. In July 2014, they became the Clinical Services Director and then in February 2016, the Director of Nursing for Behavioral Health Solutions. Gretchen has been in their current role as Chief Nurse Executive since July 2019.

Gretchen Johnson completed a Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) at Walden University in the field of Nursing Administration. Prior to that, they completed a MSN at Ferris State University in the same field. Gretchen began their educational career with a BSN from Grand Valley State University in the field of Nursing. Gretchen also holds a BS from Grace Christian University in Human Services.

They are on a team with Ryan Larue - VP, Contracting, Susan Langeland - VP, Continuum Development & Chief Information Officer, and Paul Karsten - VP, Finance & CFO. Gretchen Johnson reports to Mark Eastburg, President & CEO.
