Steve Plust

Steve Plus has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Steve is currently the Chief Operating Officer at Granite Point Mortgage Trust since June 2017. Prior to this role, they worked as a Managing Director at Pine River Capital Management starting from December 2014. Steve also held the position of Managing Director at Prudential Real Estate Investors from 2009 onwards. Before that, they were a Managing Director at Surrey Hill Capital, L.P. from 2008 to 2009. Steve started their career as a Structurer at Five Mile Capital in September 2002 and worked there until March 2007. Steve then worked at PaineWebber/ Kidder Peabody as a Managing Director from 1994 to 2000. Lastly, they served as a Senior Vice President at Kidder, Peabody & Co. Incorporated from 1984 to 1994.

Steve Plust began their education at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1975, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. Steve dedicated four years to this field of study, completing their undergraduate education in 1979. Following their bachelor's degree, Steve enrolled at Columbia Business School in 1979, where they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Finance, General. Steve successfully completed their MBA education in 1981.
