Kat Aaron is an accomplished media professional with extensive experience in podcast production and journalism. As the Executive Producer for Development at Pineapple Street Media since April 2018, Kat has been instrumental in soliciting, vetting, and supervising shows in development. Previous roles include Senior Producer and Senior Managing Producer, where Kat led teams in creating long-form narrative podcast series. Kat's experience encompasses various roles at WNYC Radio, including Senior Producer for the tech show "Note to Self" and reporter for the Data News team. Additional qualifications include producing "Octavia's Parables," reporting as an Alicia Patterson Fellow on the civil court system, and serving as a project editor at the Investigative Reporting Workshop. Educational credentials include a Master’s in Journalism and Public Affairs from American University and a Bachelor’s in Economic History from Barnard College.
