Wendy Shirey

Wendy Shirey has extensive experience in the education field, currently serving as Principal at Pinecrest Academy of Nevada since July 2015 after holding the position of Assistant Principal. Prior to this role, Wendy Shirey was an Educator in the Clark County School District from August 2000 to July 2015, teaching grades 3-5 and working in School Improvement. Wendy Shirey also held teaching positions in fifth grade at Red Rock Elementary School and Whitney Elementary School. Wendy Shirey began as a Substitute Teacher for the Lead-Deadwood School District between September 2002 and May 2003. Wendy Shirey holds an Educational Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University, a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction and Reading from Grand Canyon University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from the University of Wyoming College of Education.
