Meredith Myers

Meredith Myers is a Library Media Technology Specialist at Pinellas County Schools since August 2022, focusing on literacy initiatives and the ethical use of information technology. With extensive experience as a Librarian, Designer, Publicist, Event Planner, Writer, Public Speaker, Comedian, and Host at StandUpLibrarian.com since June 2010, Meredith educates the public on library importance through various creative mediums. Previous roles include Librarian at Gracegate Library, contributing writer for Creative Loafing Tampa, and various senior public relations positions, including Senior Public Relations Account Executive at Dan Klores Communications and Senior Publicist at Nancy Seltzer and Associates. Meredith holds a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from the University of South Florida and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Central Florida.
