Kate Smith

Kate Smith is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as Chief Communications Officer at Pinellas Education Foundation since January 2023, Kate previously held the position of Senior Director of Communications at the same organization. Prior to this role, Kate was Associate Communications Manager at Raymond James from May 2021 to January 2023 and Communications Manager at Lutheran Services Florida from March 2020 to May 2021, where a focus on internal communication and organizational culture was emphasized. Additionally, Kate contributed to quality assurance and operations review in communication at the Florida Department of Children and Families from 2015 to 2020. Kate holds a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations and Journalism from Southeastern University, earned in 2007.
