Maria Kazakova

Maria Kazakova is a designer at Pingwell. Maria previously worked at B-Stock Solutions from February 2017 to February 2022 as a UX designer. Maria was the first UX designer hired by B-Stock and had the chance to influence the company’s product vision and strategy. Maria led most early projects on a buyer experience and internal tools side. Maria participated in different forms of user research and advised on methods and outcome measuring. Maria also participated as a lead designer in product-market fit research to identify B2B buyers’ gains, pains, and motivations for the innovative many-to-many B2B marketplace solution. Maria provided solutions documented through maps, process workflow diagrams, flow charts, wireframes, annotated hi-fidelity mockups, and prototypes to various user stories according to the product roadmap. Maria also negotiated short and long-term solutions with developers and engineers. Maria monitored and advised on user experience metrics to measure success. Maria partnered with stakeholders on maintaining project deliverables consistent with clients’ and company goals, guidelines, and brand identity. Maria created and maintained a scalable B-Stock component library to support the transition to React GUI and micro-service architecture. Maria also proactively collaborated cross-department to increase the convenience of internal tools and improve and reshape existing operational processes to increase company productivity through automation by providing solutions for a better internal user experience.
