Zhaoyang Wang

Zhaoyang Wang is an experienced journalist with a focus on international finance and news reporting. Since April 2018, Zhaoyang has served as a correspondent for PingWest, covering developments in Silicon Valley. Prior to this role, Zhaoyang worked at Caixin.com (April 2017 - April 2018) as a financial reporter, providing coverage of international financial markets and interviewing foreign financial institutions operating in China. Zhaoyang's career also includes a position as a sub-editor at Phoenix Satellite Television Company Limited from June 2014 to January 2016, producing various news stories and working closely with journalists. Early experience includes an assistant role at CCTV+ in 2012 and an internship at Handan TV in early 2012. Academically, Zhaoyang holds a Bachelor of Arts in Russian Language and Literature from Nankai University and a Master of Arts in journalism from Hong Kong Baptist University.
