Pedro Macharoto

Pedro Macharoto is an experienced professional with a diverse range of work experience. Pedro co-founded Pink, an instant messaging App integrated with various platforms, where they served as the CEO and Head of Product. Previously, Pedro founded consultorio.com, a healthcare plan advisory service that ultimately closed due to high costs and limited market potential. Prior to that, they worked at Descomplica as a Partner and later as the Growth/BI Director. Pedro also co-founded Trapezus Asset Management, a quantitative trading firm that later merged with BR Investimentos and Mercatto to form Bozano Investimentos, where they served as the Co-founder/Partner and the Quant Fund CIO. Pedro began their career as a Broker for ICAP and later worked as a Trader for Banco Santander. Pedro also gained experience as an Intern at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants.

Pedro Macharoto pursued their education at the Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica - ITA from 2002 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Aeronautical-Infrastructure & Civil Engineering. Following this, they proceeded to the IMPA - Instituto de Matemática Pura e Aplicada, where they completed a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Quantitative Methods in Financial Mathematics from 2012 to 2013.
