David Shipps has a diverse work experience spanning several years. David started their career in 2004 as a Sr. Territory Sales Manager at Hawaiian Tropic. From 2006 to 2008, they worked as the Vice President of Sales & Marketing at PSDC Inc. In 2010, they joined State Farm Insurance as a Multiple Lines Representative. David then held the position of Multiple Lines Representative at Purpose Insurance Group, Inc. from 2011 to 2013. David also worked at DSI Marketing Solutions in 2008 as a Business Developer. In 2011, they joined Pinkerton Payroll & Insurance as the VP of Operations and Purpose Employer Solutions as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing, where they managed various aspects of operations and sales and marketing.

David Shipps attended Venice High School from 1994 to 1997. After completing high school, they pursued an Associates Degree in General Business from the State College of Florida-Manatee-Sarasota, which they completed from 1999 to 2000. David then continued their education at the University of Central Florida, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from 2001 to 2002. In terms of additional certifications, David obtained the Certified Healthcare Reform Specialist certification from the Healthcare Reform Center & Policy Institute in June 2013. David also holds a Hootsuite Professional Certification, obtained in June 2013. Additionally, David has the General Lines Insurance Agent 2-20 certification, obtained in February 2012, and the Life/Health & Annuities 2-15 certification, obtained in December 2010. Furthermore, they have a Real Estate Broker or Sales certification, obtained in September 2007.
