Chih-An (Zach) Chang

Chih-An (Zach) Chang's work experience starts in 2020 as a Data Engineer at Kuobrothers Corp, where they implemented ETL and ELT processes from MongoDB and MySQL databases to Google BigQuery. Chih-An (Zach) also managed data pipelines through Airflow and created a dockerized interactive interface for A/B/n testing.

In 2022, Chih-An (Zach) Chang joined Pinkoi as a Data Engineer - Analytics. Chih-An (Zach) served as the project owner of dbt, where they proposed and implemented various initiatives such as building a containerized dbt infrastructure on AWS Athena and defining the development process. Chih-An (Zach) also designed CI/CD pipelines and integrated dbt core with Airflow for orchestration. Collaborating with analysts, BEs, and MLEs, they implemented data modeling and built data transformation pipelines using Apache Iceberg.

Chih-An (Zach) Chang pursued their education in a sequential manner. Chih-An (Zach) first obtained a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management from National Tsing Hua University from 2012 to 2016. Following this, they furthered their studies at National Chiao Tung University, where they completed a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Management Science from 2018 to 2020.

In addition to their educational background, Chih-An Chang also obtained a certification in dbt Fundamentals from dbt Labs in June 2022.
