James Schmidt

James Schmidt is a seasoned geologist and sales manager with extensive experience in the foundation repair industry. Currently serving as a Senior Geologist and Sales Manager at Pinnacle Foundation Repair since April 2020, James previously operated as a self-employed geo consultant specializing in remedial construction. From January 2018 to April 2020, James held the position of Vice President of Business Development at Perma Pier Foundation Repair of Texas, following roles as Senior Geologist and Regional Director at the same company from 2006 to January 2020. Earlier in the career, James worked as a Staff Geologist at Arch Foundation Repair, focusing on the effects of vertisol soils on shallow foundation systems. James holds a Master’s degree in Geology from The University of Texas at Arlington, obtained between 1998 and 2000.
