Sophie May

Sophie May is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in the insurance and reinsurance sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Finance at Pinnacle Pet Group since March 2019, Sophie previously held positions as CFO at Ellipse from January 2009 to February 2019, where efforts focused on enhancing the Group Risk industry through technology and automation. Prior to this, Sophie was the Financial Controller at Great Lakes (UK) PLC from 2006 to 2008, tasked with implementing governance and financial control changes in a major reinsurance facilitator for the Munich Re Group. Sophie's career began at Munich Re's UK Life Branch from 2002 to 2006, initially overseeing the Financial Accounting team and later leading change in the Technical Accounting function.
