Melissa Rutledge has over 17 years of work experience in graphic design, promotions, and sales. Melissa began their career in 2003 as the Promotions Director for SCAD Radio, where they promoted the award-winning student-run radio station of the Savannah College of Art and Design. In 2004, they worked as a Sales Associate for Ex Libris and as a Promotions Intern for Adventure Radio. In 2005, they worked as a Graphic Designer for MC2 Events Exhibits Environments and began their freelance work as a Graphic Designer. From 2016 to 2019, they held various roles with Makervillage, including Gallery Coordinator and Board Member. In 2018, they joined the Rome International Film Festival as an Executive Board Member and Graphic Designer. In 2019, they became a Board Member for Keep Rome Floyd Beautiful. In 2020, they began their current role as a Graphic Design Instructor at Georgia Highlands College.
Melissa Rutledge attended the Savannah College of Art and Design from 2000 to 2004, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design and Illustration.
