Amity Buchner

Amity Buchner has a diverse work experience in various healthcare-related roles. Amity started their career as a Med Tech/Caregiver at Brookdale Senior Living from February 2013 to February 2015. Amity then worked as a Social Services Intern at Denver Metro Village Senior Living from January 2016 to May 2016, where they researched resources and planned activities for low-income senior residents.

In 2017, they took on the role of a Research Project Coordinator at Touro University California, where they managed a research study focused on patient experience with osteopathic and allopathic medicine. Amity collected data, scheduled survey site days, and communicated results to medical providers.

Amity also worked as a Medical Scribe Trainer at PhysAssist Scribes, Inc from November 2017 to November 2018. In this role, they trained incoming scribes on medical records navigation, charting, and medical terminology. Amity also performed audits on scribes to ensure quality of work.

From November 2018 to March 2021, Amity served as the Director of Operations and Workforce Management at Skywriter MD. Amity'sresponsibilities included overseeing the company's expansion, managing the development of a new service, and navigating the company's transformation during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Currently, Amity Buchner is working at Pinnacol Assurance as a Medical Operations Specialist from June 2021 until the present. Amity handles medical bills for Colorado injured workers, ensures compliance with workers' compensation standards, and participates in special projects to improve processes and technology.

Amity Buchner completed their Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of Colorado Denver in 2017.
