Joel Hornbostel

Joel Hornbostel has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. Joel began their career in 1997 as a Customer Service Representative at Merrill Lynch. In 1998, they joined Invesco US, where they served as an Operations Analyst and Private Equity Reporting Analyst until 2007. Joel then moved on to Colorado PERA, where they worked as an Investment Performance and Risk Analyst from 2007 to 2013. Since 2013, they have been employed at Pinnacol Assurance, first as a Senior Investment Analyst and currently as a Portfolio Manager.

Joel Hornbostel obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Finance, General from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 1997. Joel then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Finance, General at the University of Denver - Daniels College of Business, completing it before 2010.

In 2014, Joel attended the CAIA Association and completed the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst program, specializing in Alternative Investments.

Additionally, in April 2015, they obtained the CAIA Charterholder certification from the CAIA Association.
