John O'Donnell

John O'Donnell serves as the President & CEO of Pinnacol Assurance since February 2022, bringing extensive leadership experience from previous roles at Allstate, including President of the West Territory and Chairman of Allstate Canada, and Senior Vice President of Agency Operations. O'Donnell held the position of President & CEO for Allstate Insurance Company of Canada and was a Field Vice President for Allstate prior to this. Earlier experience includes Senior Vice President at GMAC, Manager of Business Planning & Development at The Walt Disney Company, and Associate at Goldman Sachs. O'Donnell's military background includes serving as a Captain in the United States Marine Corps as an attack helicopter instructor pilot. O'Donnell holds an MBA in Finance and Economics from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the United States Naval Academy.
