Nick Veith has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Nick started their career as a Project Manager at The Manhattan Mortgage Company in 2006. Nick then worked as a Campaign Manager and Director of Finance at MayorSchundler.com in 2008. After that, they joined ServiceMagic as an Online Marketing Analyst and later as a Senior Business Analyst from 2009 to 2011.
In 2011, Nick joined HomeAdvisor as a Sr Business Intelligence Developer, where they were responsible for data gathering, table design, and ETL development for the data warehouse. Nick then moved to Craftsy in 2013 and held roles as a Sr Manager Digital Marketing and later as the Director of Digital Marketing. At Craftsy, they managed teams, developed tools, and helped grow the Craftsy community.
From 2015 to 2017, Nick co-owned FrictionLabs, a rock climbing chalk manufacturing company, where they played a crucial role in its international distribution. Following this, they worked at Active Interest Media as the Director of Business Intelligence, responsible for selecting tools, architecting data warehouse, and implementing a BI frontend. Additionally, they supervised the company's email platform.
In 2017, Nick founded Bright Black Box Consulting, a Data, Technology, and Digital Marketing Consulting Group, where they worked with clients from various sectors. Finally, they joined RadTran LLC in 2018 as a Business Strategy Consultant, specializing in nuclear technologies for the advancement of medicine and energy production.
Currently, Nick Veith is working at Pinnacol Assurance as the Manager of Data Transformation since 2019.
Nick Veith earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from The King's College, completing their studies from 2004 to 2008. Nick furthered their education and obtained a Master of Science degree in Analytics from the Georgia Institute of Technology, attending from 2019 to 2021. In addition to their degrees, Nick Veith holds various certifications, including the Human Research, Data or Specimens Only Research, Stage 1 certification from the CITI Program, a MicroMasters in Analytics: Essential Tools and Methods from the Georgia Institute of Technology, a Certificate in Essential Math for Machine Learning: Python Edition from Microsoft, and the Google AdWords Certification Program: Individually Qualified from Google.
