John Ballard

John Ballard has over 17 years of professional experience in the fields of validation, quality assurance, and product development. John began their career in 2002 as a Validation Specialist at CimQuest, Incorporated, where they were responsible for developing project timelines and validation life cycle documentation for various types of laboratory systems. In 2003, they joined Johnson & Johnson PRD as a Scientist, where they conducted research and developed analytical methods. John then moved to GlaxoSmithKline in the same role, where they maintained and troubleshot Caliper LS instrumentation. In 2008, they worked as a Validation Engineer at Automation and Validation Solutions, Inc., where they authored Local SOPs and Validation/Qualification documents. John also worked as a Product Development Testing Engineer at Caliper Life Sciences, Inc. that same year. In 2010, John worked as an R&D Engineer at Angiotech and as a Senior Validation Engineer at Automation and Validation Solutions. From 2011 to 2013, they worked at SL Pharma Labs, Inc. as Manager, QA/GMP - Compliance. Most recently, John has been working as a Principal Validation Consultant - Team Lead at Pinnaql Inc. since 2014.

John Ballard obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Eastern Michigan University between 1983 and 1990. In March 2021, they completed a Leadership Training certification from GoSkills.com.
