Michelle Ertischek

Director, Planning and Operations at Pinney Associates, Inc.

Michelle Ertischek has over 20 years of work experience in the fields of pharmaceuticals, public relations, and risk management. Michelle has held various positions at Pinney Associates, Inc. since 2001, most recently serving as the Director of Planning and Operations. In their previous role as Director of Pharmaceutical Risk Management, Ertischek advised clients on developing and implementing risk management and REMS for prescription medications. Michelle also coordinated a wide range of internal business development and administration activities. Prior to joining Pinney Associates, they worked as an Account Supervisor at Porter Novelli where they developed and implemented public relations programs on various health-related topics. Some of their achievements there included the creation of a non-profit Coalition for World No Tobacco Day and recruiting membership of public health organizations such as the American Lung Association and the American Cancer Society.

Michelle Ertischek received their Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Wellesley College in 1995. While attending Wellesley, they also spent one year studying abroad at the University of Bristol in 1993-1994. In 2007, they obtained their Master of Public Health degree in health policy from the George Washington University School of Public Health and Health Sciences. Michelle returned to Wellesley College at some point, although it is unclear whether they obtained another degree or what field of study it was in.
