Gayle Ditchburn

Gayle Ditchburn is a partner at Pinsent Masons since January 2007, specializing in advising the Universities and Higher Education Sector on strategic projects, including collaborations, mergers, joint ventures, and commercial contracts. Recent notable engagements include advising Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Combined Authority on the establishment of a new university in Peterborough and assisting a UK university with the buyout of its joint venture partner in Malaysia. Prior to this, Gayle served as Interim University Secretary at Durham University from March 2014 to February 2015 while continuing the role at Pinsent Masons, and worked as an Associate at Shakespeares from September 1999 to January 2007, where significant achievements included securing £100,000 in VAT savings for a charity client in the High Court. Gayle holds an LLB in Law from Nottingham Trent University and a Legal Practice Course qualification from Nottingham Law School.
